Research

I now work at the CBR chair at TUM where I apply my experience building applications for finance in order to build similar applications for life sciences. I maintain a set of tools called “CBR Bioinformatics Tools” [1] that allow configuring and running various bioinformatics algorithms. It also provides enhanced ways to visualize structures in PyMol. I am also working on automating the creation of mutation spaces and methods to score potential mutations such as energy minimization. This allows assessing new enzymes computationally before testing them in the laboratory.
