Forschung
In my research, I am prevalently focusing on the production of polyamide building blocks from renewable resources through in vitro enzymatic cascades. The involved reactions are mainly catalyzed by oxidases, dehydrogenases, deaminases and transaminases. My goals are to find, characterize and optimize suitable enzyme variants, to combine them in one-pot reactions and to finally refine the process for high efficiency, productivity and yield
